Perranporth Triathlon

Several members from the packet entered this years race. Steve ferguson, Steve Smith, and Kev Richards. Sorry if Imissed anybody out!
It was a very well organised event again and nice scienic course. The swim was bit choppy but nothing to compair to previous years. Steve Ferguson was out in the top 5, no suprise there! but he then by his own words "went backwards on the Bike"
Kev Richards is another one of our Very Fast Swimers clocked up a Swim time of18min 25sec including the long run up the beach.
Steve Smith would posted one of the fastest bike spllits if he had my Tri Spoke Wheels fitted.....Steve you know you want them...

UK IRONMAN 70.3 Entries now open!

IRONMAN UK is pleased to announce that they are now accepting entries for the 2008 UK IRONMAN 70.3 on June 15th at Wimbleball Lake on Exmoor.

The race will be run over the same successful course from 2006 and 2007, which has gained a reputation as the toughest 70.3 in the world, featuring 52 hills in 56 miles and over 2000mtrs of climbing on the bike.

Breakwater Swim

Sally will be Swimming the Breakwater to Hoe Swim tonight. Starting at 18.00 and finishing at the Hoe in front of the cafe.




Well done Sally not sure about the time but it looked Cold!!!
